It was great to attend a North East briefing with the Education Secretary at the end of October. I raised issues relating to capital investment both in establishing SEND units in mainstream schools to reduce home to school transport costs and specific school building repair issues.
It is clear to me that the Government’s Opportunity Mission will make a real difference to children in North Durham.
