It was an honour to be asked to unveil a plaque commemorating Janet Box, a devoted community activist who was instrumental in making Burnhope Community Centre happen. In recognition of her contribution, the gym has been renamed in Janet’s memory. The Community Centre is a pillar of the community and Janet will be fondly remembered for her work and commitment to the area.
